New Days are Everywhere
It's today
and it's new
but it's Tuesday again
Where was I?
In the middle of laundry,
paying bills, making a shopping list?
Or am I starting over?
Starting over on my list of things to do,
or picking up where I was?
It's the beginning of a new day,
or is it the early part of a week?
I had a good night's sleep.
I feel good this morning.
I have lovely things to think about
even though I feel sad about some things
I have some happy things to think about, too.
What is today?
It's Tuesday
the early part of the week.
It's a new day
for me ....
